Mastering the Rules
Reversi Challenge adheres to the classic rules of Reversi, also known as Othello. Here's a brief overview to get you started:
Objective: The goal of Reversi is to have the majority of your colored discs on the board when the game ends.
Setup: The game begins with a 8x8 grid. Each player starts with two discs of their color in the center, arranged in a diagonal pattern (e.g., black on top-left and bottom-right, white on top-right and bottom-left).
Gameplay:
Players take turns placing one disc of their color on an empty space.
To capture your opponent's discs, you must sandwich them between your disc and another of your color horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
Captured discs are flipped to your color.
The game continues until the board is filled or no legal moves are left.
The player with the most discs of their color on the board when the game ends wins.
